The move comes as part of efforts to bring about an effective change in the learning process and reduce the academic burden on students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to NCERT officials, the rationalization process will involve a thorough review of the existing textbooks, with the aim of streamlining the curriculum and making it more student-friendly. The textbooks will be revised and updated, taking into consideration the latest developments in various fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The officials added that the rationalization process will also ensure that the syllabus is reduced, keeping in mind the need for a balanced curriculum. The syllabus reduction will be done in a phased manner, with the objective of creating a more conducive learning environment for students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The NCERT is expected to complete the rationalization process in the next few months, after which the updated textbooks will be made available to students.
