In the ongoing 1st Sikh Premier Cricket League<\/strong> at the University of Jammu ground<\/strong>, Khalsa Cricket Club<\/strong> and Janta Warriors Cricket Club<\/strong> registered thrilling victories in their respective matches. The tournament is organized by Hari Singh Nalwa Cricket Club<\/strong> under the banner of the Sikh Coordination Committee J&K<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In the opening match, Khalsa Cricket Club<\/strong> set a challenging total of 164\/6 in 20 overs<\/strong> after being put into bat. Robin Singh<\/strong> played a blistering knock of 66 runs off 41 balls<\/strong>, including 6 fours and 4 sixes<\/strong>. He was well supported by Harpreet Singh<\/strong> (30) and Jaspreet Singh<\/strong> (23). For Diamond Cricket Club<\/strong>, Pawandeep Singh<\/strong> (2\/30) and Gurpreet Singh<\/strong> (2\/35) were the standout bowlers.<\/p>\n

In reply, Diamond Cricket Club<\/strong> fell just one run short, scoring 163\/8 in 20 overs<\/strong>. Jagandeep Singh<\/strong> starred with the bat, scoring 45 runs off 28 balls<\/strong>, while Baljinder Singh<\/strong> (38) and Gurpreet Singh<\/strong> (29) also contributed valuable runs. Khalsa\u2019s Dutta Gagandeep<\/strong> was the standout bowler, claiming 3 wickets for 14 runs<\/strong>. Robin Singh<\/strong> was named Player of the Match<\/strong> for his all-round performance.<\/p>\n

In the second match, Janta Warriors Cricket Club<\/strong> chased down Bali Cricket Club\u2019s target<\/strong> of 158 runs<\/strong> with ease, finishing at 159\/5 in 18.4 overs<\/strong>. Gurmeet Singh<\/strong> was the hero, scoring 61 runs off 39 balls<\/strong>, while Amrit Pal Singh<\/strong> contributed an unbeaten 56 runs<\/strong>. Bali Cricket Club<\/strong> had managed 157\/9 in 20 overs<\/strong>, with Satpal Singh<\/strong> (29) and Daman Wazir<\/strong> (22) top-scoring. Hardeep Singh<\/strong> and Vikramjeet Singh<\/strong> took 2 wickets each<\/strong> for Janta Warriors<\/strong>. Gurmeet Singh<\/strong> was named Player of the Match<\/strong> for his excellent batting performance.<\/p>\n
