{"id":39729,"date":"2025-06-16T19:36:50","date_gmt":"2025-06-16T19:36:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ppnewsline.in\/?p=39729"},"modified":"2025-06-16T19:59:53","modified_gmt":"2025-06-16T19:59:53","slug":"drug-trafficking-threatens-peace-in-village-khairi-of-bishnah-block","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ppnewsline.in\/?p=39729","title":{"rendered":"Drug Trafficking Threatens Peace in Village khairi of Bishnah Block\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Drug trafficking is becoming a big problem in many parts of our country and now it is slowly spreading to small villages like khairi.This is a serious issue that can destroy families, affect our youth and create fear in peaceful community.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">In recent months,khairi a small village under Bishnah block of Jammu has\u00a0 seen a worrying rise in drug related activities that threatens\u00a0 the safety and well-being of our youth and community as a whole.\u00a0 Drug Trafficking considered a distant urban issue has now quietly made way into ruler landscape.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">According to accounts from local residents and observations from Village surpanch and panchs small scale drug trafficking networks have started operating at a alarming rate. Drug Traffickers\u00a0 supply drugs at odd hours,a rise in youth addiction cases and increased the rates of petty thefts in the village due to drug trafficking in khairi. There are numbers of thefts cases including stealing the water motors of farmers ,motorcycles, animals and so on. This has been increasing day by day.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">&#8221; *Our village used to be a safe place for families and children ,but now we see unfamiliar faces,snatching cases and our young boys are falling into bad company&#8221;* said one elderly resident.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Especially the young boys are falling into this trap, becoming victims of drug abuse and committing thefts. Whenever there is a suspicion of any such incident people call the police and the police also do their job &#8220;We cannot Fight this alone&#8221; said a representative from the nearby police station &#8221;\u00a0 We urge Villagers to report suspicious activities without fear .Protecting our youth is a shared responsibility.&#8221;<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0Due to this, Cases of robbery are also increasing and people are scared to go out after 10 pm . Many times the village people themselves keep watch at night and catch such traffickers . It has been heard that drug peddlers especially make young boys addicted to it and then get the drug supplied from them who then go on to commit thefts to satisfy their drug cravings .Drug trafficking and crimes such as thefts, robbery are becoming more rampant. Recently police station Bishnah, Jammu has arrested two drug peddlers, who are real brothers and recovered 21.26 grams of heroine like substance.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">However, efforts have already begun In local schools and government schools have started awareness programs and educating the young students about the ill effects of drug Addiction And Drug abuse. Government should taken strict actions against Drug peddlers But it is a responsibility of all of us to stop this serious problem by reporting the police about any suspicious activities related to drug trafficking\u00a0 at\u00a0 helpline number 9086100100\u00a0 .
