PP NEWS LINE DESK: ADC Basohli Pankaj Bhagotra visited Ward No. 11 and 12 of Basohli and distributed relief material among families affected by natural disaster. During this, Tehsildar Basohli Sagar Vishav Karma, CDPO Rakesh Kumar and employees of Revenue Department were present. While talking, ADC told that 21 families were affected due to landslide due to heavy rains in Ward No. 11 and 12 of Basohli, to whom relief material has been distributed, which reached Basohli on Sunday evening. The officer said that this relief material includes tarpaulin, tent, mattress, blanket, bedsheet, bucket, household utensils kit, food items, soap, brush and paste etc. He informed that Patwaris have been sent to their work areas with relief material to distribute to the families affected by natural disaster in the area falling under sub district Basohli so that relief material can reach the affected families as soon as possible. The officer informed that many roads in the area have been opened for traffic and the work of opening the remaining roads is in progress and in the areas where roads have been opened, ration, LPG gas etc. are being delivered. He informed that the team of the Electricity Department is engaged in restoring electricity in Dhar Jhainkhar by evening and the work of restoring electricity is going on in the areas where roads are still closed.
