BJP govt headed by Prime minister Narendra Modi double standard on Pakistan exposed when Country men found Pakistan imprint on Team India Jersey for Champions Trophy sets social media ablaze. Pertinent to mention that India’s ICC Champions Trophy campaign will kick off with a match against Bangladesh at Dubai on February 20. Social Media ablaze when country men found headshots of Team India stars were unveiled ahead of the ICC Champions Trophy in Dubai on February 17. The official Instagram handle of the Indian Cricket Team unveiled the headshots of Indian stars Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, skipper Rohit Sharma, Rishabh Pant, Mohammed Shami among others, looking battle-ready in their official ICC Champions Trophy jerseys. Will the Home minister of India Amit Shah and Defence minister Rajnath Singh take action against the ICC Chairman and BCCI president Jay Shah but India ki Jersey Pe Pakistan Likha Hua hai Pakistani Issi Me Khush Ho Rhe Hai. International Cricket Committee and BCCI are issuing the clarification on this biggest blunder that it is rule of the ICC that host country name should be written on players Jersy. But in past this had not happened when Indian Cricket and Hockey teams played Champions Trophy Hockey or cricket, Asian Cup and World Cup etc. However, one additional change was made to the Champions Trophy 2025 by its chairman Jay Shah who is son of India’s Home minister Amit Shah with the top right corner had the ICC tournament’s logo with the name of the host nation, Pakistan, on it. Ahead of the tournament, there were reports that the BCCI would disallow Pakistan’s name imprinted on the Indian jersey. Earlier, Indian PM Modi too had arrived Pakistan with out receiving any invitation from Pakistan and attended the marriage of the then Pak PM’s son. BJP is fighting elections on the so called fight against Pakistan sponsored militancy but this blunder committed by the home minister’s son can not be forget by Indian in any case. Ahead of the tournament, there were reports that the BCCI would disallow Pakistan’s name imprinted on the Indian jersey. However, newly appointed BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia later confirmed that the board will adhere to the ICC rules. India, hence, did not breach ICC’s uniform-related rule made by none other than newly appointed its chairman Jay Shah. According to the new rule, all participating teams in an ICC event must wear the host nation’s name on their jerseys, even if they play at neutral venues. BCCI and PCB have been at loggerheads for months in the build-up to the Champions Trophy after the Indian board confirmed to the ICC that the team did not get clearance from their government to travel to Pakistan for the tournament. In the wake of the Islamabad unrest in December last year, ICC sided with BCCI’s request, even as PCB threatened to back out, as Dubai was picked as the neutral venue for all India matches. The jersey has turned heads and grabbed eyeballs due to the mention of ‘Pakistan’ on an Indian jersey. In a post from the official Indian cricket team’s Instagram handle shared headshots of captain, Rohit Sharma and other players like Shubman Gills, Rishabh Pant and Mohammed Shami. It said, “these pics from today…how good”. However, referring to the missing Indian flag in the Karachi Stadium user took to X and posted “Pakistan name on Indian Jersey, they are questioning, “No Indian flag in Pakistan cricket ground because of India is not playing in Pakistan, so why Pakistan name in Indian Jersey, India is not playing in Pakistan.” Now the question goes in the mind of countrymen that Will Home minister Amit Shah take action against his own son who is also head of ICC and BCCI ? If this blunder was committed by opposition party , PM Modi led BJP govt will not hesitate to file case against their leaders. In this case, Home minister’s own son is involved and BJP leaders will not dare to protest against this issue.
