Rajnath Singh Praises PM Modi’s 11-Year Leadership as Era of Transformational Growth

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Monday commended Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 11 years in office, describing the period as one marked by “unprecedented development” and far-reaching changes across political, social, and economic spheres.

Singh highlighted the strides India has made toward self-reliance in defence, attributing this progress to PM Modi’s Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative. He stated that this vision has enabled India to emerge as one of the world’s top five economies and positioned the nation as confident and fully prepared to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Reflecting on the broader changes under Modi’s leadership, Singh remarked that the past decade has fulfilled the aspirations of the country’s freedom fighters and Constitution makers—establishing a democracy that encompasses social and economic inclusion, not just political governance.

He further asserted that under Modi’s dynamic guidance, India is not merely advancing but rising to its “rightful place” on the global stage. Singh extended his appreciation to all citizens for their role in this national transformation, saying, “Together, we are moving ahead—stronger, prouder, and more united than ever.”Outlining key accomplishments of the Modi administration, Singh referred to measures that have improved both the ease of living for ordinary citizens and the ease of doing business for entrepreneurs. He emphasized the government’s focused commitment to uplifting all segments of society, including women and farmers.

Citing landmark welfare programs like Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Ayushman Bharat, and Ujjwala Yojana, Singh said these initiatives have brought dignity, healthcare, and empowerment to millions of underprivileged Indians. Additionally, he noted the significant expansion in physical infrastructure—such as highways, railways, smart cities, and digital networks—and improvements in healthcare and education systems, all of which, he said, are laying the groundwork for a new and stronger India. #rajnathsingh
