Mismanagement in Traffic regulation a  regular routine in Jammu

Winter Capital Jammu is grappling with an escalating traffic problem, primarily caused  due to mis management  on the part of the Jammu Traffic Police in the entire city. The growing concerns of  residents have prompted calls for urgent action from the  Jammu Traffic police to curb this pressing problem.  Despite repeated request to SSP Traffic Jammu  by residents and traders to remove illegal and wrong parking of vehicles parked by unknown people, and there’s no check on this issue. When asked to DTIs traffic to remove parking at crossings and roads, he replied.. this is not  part of our duty you can go to concerned police stations. Traffic police Jammu is facing a severe  criticism due to their such kind of attitude. Traffic police personnel are seen in action only  during VVIPs movement  in the city, the common man are suffering a lot after the state turned into Union territory and control of Police has given to Lt Governor, J&K in place of elected Chief minister of J&K. There is no rule of law in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir as entire city turned into unknown vehicles parking. People park their vehicles anywhere on roads, despite the presence of parking facilities. This careless attitude towards parking is worsening the situation every day. With such kind of careless attitude of Traffic police, Jammu is facing a severe traffic problem, and it’s primarily caused by improper parking. This issue requires immediate attention from the traffic authorities and Transport Department. Already reeling under massive traffic congestion due to road closures in view of the unnecessarily  movement of VVIPs in different Jammu districts, the city is facing an additional burden as matador drivers continue to choke key approach roads and lanes, leaving commuters in distress. While the entire traffic department remains engaged in clearing way for the VVIPs only, however, the city’s interior roads have been left in disarray. The commuters are struggling to cover even short distances due to traffic mismanagement. The worst-hit areas is the stretch from the  BC Road, Jewel Chowk Bikram Chowk, Satwari Chowk, Canal road, KC Chowk, MLA hostel road, Rehari Chungi, Dental College Chowk, Ambhalla, New plots, Janipur which has turned into a daily nightmare for locals. These areas witnessing heavy congestion  on every day, the matadors and  buses  either standing on crossings  and moving at snail pace creating chaos for thousands of regular travellers.
Locals complained that despite repeatedly flagging the issue to police and traffic authorities, no action has been taken on the ground. Te commuters  repeated request have fallen on deaf ears as the congestion here continues unchecked. The commuters said that a journey of barely 15–20 minutes now stretches into hours.  Matadors have choked the entire city roads  and crossings and traffic police are nowhere to be seen to provide relief. Traffic  police Jammu must take strict measures to prevent matadors and  buses  not to make any crossings and roads as their parking.
A glaring example of lawness is that even Traffic police Jammu could not able to remove matadors in front of DGP’s J&K residence at Bikram Chowk.  Now, question arises  whether Jammu traffic police able to  take strict action against Matadors and buses made all crossings as  their  parking places in city.
