PP NEWS LINE DESK : Continuing its drive against drug smugglers/peddlers, Samba Police has arrested one drug peddler in the jurisdiction of Police Station Vijaypur and recovered approximately 05 grams of heroin (chitta) like substance from his possession. A Police party of Police Station Vijaypur during vehicle checking at AIIMS Naka Vijaypur, intercepted a Motorcycle bearing registration number CH01AN-3833 for its checking. During frisking of the motorcyclist, approximately 05 grams of heroin like substance was recovered from his possession. The drug peddler identified as Vijay Kumar S/O Roop Lal R/O W. No. 1 Ramgarh tehsil Ramgarh district Samba has been arrested and contraband item has been seized. The motorcycle has also been seized in the instant case. A case FIR No. 92/2025 U/S 8/21/22/25 NDPS Act has been registered at PS Vijaypur and investigation started.
