PP NEWS LINE DESK : September 23: The Jammu and Kashmir Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, has recommended summoning the next session of the Legislative Assembly from October 13 to October 20.
The decision was taken during a high-level Cabinet meeting in Srinagar today, where several significant governance and development-related matters were also discussed and approved.
Officials said the upcoming session is expected to witness discussions on key administrative, developmental, and public welfare issues. The recommendation will now be forwarded to the Lieutenant Governor for formal approval.
This will be a seven-day session, providing legislators an opportunity to deliberate on pressing matters and review the implementation of government initiatives across the Union Territory.
