Jammu, April 14: The Women Wing of Gandhi Global Family, Jammu, organized a heartfelt Langer Sewa at Government Medical College Jammu on the auspicious occasion of Baisakhi and the birth anniversary of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar. The initiative was carried out with the spirit of Sewa (selfless service) and community welfare, reflecting the core values of compassion, equality and inclusivity upheld by both the festival and the legacy of Dr. Ambedkar. Members of the Women Wing viz.Dr. Alka Sharma , Dr. Summi Sahi Seth, Renu Anthony, Dr. Jyoti Malhotra, Joginder Kour, Punit Kour, Bindu and Kavita Kotwal actively participated in serving Langer to common public, spreading warmth and positivity. Speaking on the occasion, representatives of the Women Wing highlighted that such initiatives aim not only to serve humanity but also to promote the ideals of social harmony and dignity for all. The team emphasized that celebrating festivals through acts of kindness strengthens the fabric of society. The Langer Sewa witnessed enthusiastic participation from volunteers and was deeply appreciated by the beneficiaries.
